Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan

Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan

In 2011, a group of community leaders came together to look at our mental health system of care in a different way. When Fresno County’s 24-hour mental health crisis unit closed, organizations and residents realized that in order to transform the mental health system, they needed to join forces.

Nearly every sector of our community united in this common goal. Through this collective effort, a community-wide Suicide Prevention Plan was developed.

Now in its second year, this essential plan has evolved as we welcome feedback and new ideas. Together, we are dedicated to making a difference in our community, one life at a time.
