SDCOE, CDE and LivingWorks are excited to announce the virtual LivingWorks Start Youth Launch Event for 7th – 12th grade students happening on September 15th from 1-2pm, during Suicide Prevention Month. This inspiring event will focus on mental health, resiliency and suicide prevention.
We are inviting all students, staff and teachers to attend this virtual field trip with a presentation by teen suicide attempt survivor Emma Benoit, a musical performance by MTV New Artist Nominee Tate McRae and a jaw-dropping cardistry routine by America’s Got Talent winner, Shin Limamong much more.
At the conclusion of the event, students will be offered access to the training program by text or website. If your districts are not yet ready to launch the student training, please know that you can use this event to educate and inspire youth. This event is intended to reach middle and high school students in California regardless whether or not you prioritized their districts to receive staff training licenses.
