SOGIE-Inclusive Behavioral Healthcare
These two trainings will provide an overview of gender and sexual diversity, and highlight the interactions between Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE), behavioral health outcomes, and the ability to access services. The second of two 90-minute trainings will begin with a brief review of the key takeaways from the first training and then focus on implementation strategies, practices, and protocols for ensuring that LGBTQ+ clients experience welcoming, inclusive, and responsive care, thereby increasing the likelihood of continued engagement with needed behavioral health services.
