The California Department of Education has partnered with CalHOPE Schools Initiative to promote their FREE resources available to support youth and educator well-being. These free resources and support materials are A Trusted Space: Redirecting Grief to Growth, Angst: Building Resilience and Stories of Hope Shorts and can be accessed for no-cost from the CalHOPE Schools Initiative website. They offer positive and thoughtful ways to navigate a challenging educational ecosystem utilizing on-line resources such as:
- transformational films that speak directly to the heart of social and emotional needs, and
- customized curriculum and guides to help teachers, students and families successfully navigate the journey to personal well-being.
Additionally, All It Takes, supported by the CalHOPE Schools Initiative is offering a tuition free training: Building Trusted Spaces Training of Trainers. This experientially engaging series prepares educator trainers to facilitate training in their own networks by supporting those in direct service to students to embrace their role as builders of atmospheres where healing and learning happen naturally. This free program will be held March 6-7, 2023 at the Sacramento County Office of Education. Space is limited. Travel and housing is not covered in the free tuition. For more information visit the All It Takes Training of Trainers website.
